Welcome message

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee, it is our great pleasure and distinct honor to announce the International Congress of the Albanian Federation of Gynecologists and Obstetricians that will be held from April 17 to 19, 2026, at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, in Tirana - Albania.

This Congress will be organized in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology of the University of Medicine of Tirana, under the patronage of our Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Italian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SIGO) to which we are affiliated.

It is also supported by ASST Fatebenefratelli Sacco of Milan through the PRISMA Project, financed by the Italian Development Cooperation, which promotes scientific collaboration and advanced clinical training in maternal and neonatal care.

The theme of this Congress is "Shaping the Future through Innovation and Impact in Gynecology, Obstetrics and Neonatal Care". Women and neonatal health is now at a pivotal stage, with rapid advances in diagnostic imaging, genomic medicine, artificial intelligence, and novel therapies. At the same time, important policy changes in response to Albania's declining birthrate highlight the social dimensions of our field. This international scientific activity will provide a forum for active discussion and knowledge-sharing to address these critical issues.

The Congress aims to focus on trending topics and crucial challenges faced by the gynecologists, obstetricians and neonatologists, locally and globally, including updates in Clinical Obstetrics, Fetal and Neonatal Medicine, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine in order to educate the participants from a global perspective through these various collaborations. The scientific committee has teamed up with national and international societies, in offering a comprehensive program that covers the latest clinical advances in research and cutting-edge topics in daily practice, the most recent development and management of the rapidly evolving health care requirements.

Several pre-conference workshops will be held on April 17, 2026, offering an additional opportunity for in-depth learning and engagement.

We are delighted to host many distinguished clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, and innovators, experts in Gynecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology from around the world, in addition to an elite roster of local speakers that will cover a broad range of topics, plenary sessions, state-of-the-art lectures, interactive sessions, case discussions, workshops, debates and livelier interaction with leaders and experts to encourage exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices for the betterment of Women's Health.

This unique event will offer a superb opportunity for physicians and specialists to attend expert updates and to share best practices and experiences and to network with new and established colleagues, creating and strengthening clinical collaborations.

Your active participation plays a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare, focused on quality, safety, and improving the lives of mothers and babies, especially at the most vulnerable patients.

Beyond the scientific program, you will discover an exciting social program. We also encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Tirana as well as other cities of Albania and enjoy our unique culture and attractions.

We are confident that the sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities will offer valuable insights and an enriching experience for all.

Thank you for joining us in this collective effort to improve outcomes for women, mothers, and newborns worldwide.

We look forward to your valuable participation and wish you all a highly productive and inspiring congress!

This is an event not to be missed!
